Lauren has over 10 years pet insurance experience in a broad range of functions from claim assessment, dispute resolution, compliance, account management, sales, marketing, underwriting and product and portfolio management. Pet parent to three chihuahuas, Lauren is passionate about building products and services that improve the health and welfare of pets and provide peace of mind to the pet parents that care for them.

Alex has deep senior management experience with a proven record of developing and executing strategy that enables growth in customer and profitability. Alex serves on a number of boards, including Trupanion Australia and as Chairperson of PetSure Services Inc. Alex is a passionate pet lover and proud pet parent to two Bichon Frise, Ripper and Teddy.

José has deep experience in defining strategy for sectors such as insurance, telecommunications, health, and outsourced managed services in Sydney, London and Johannesburg where he played a lead role in developing the digital strategy for wearable technology as well as lead for a New Zealand insurer on new claims modelling. Prior to Bain José held roles with UBS London and Accenture South Africa. José has been a proud pet parent for many years, looking to rescue his next pet from animal rescue.

Joe joined PetSure as CFO in 2017 and leads a high performing finance team providing capital and financial management, reporting and business intelligence, commercial partnerships and decision support to the CEO and board. 
Joe has more than 25 years’ industry experience, starting in the UK with KPMG, where he gained extensive proficiency in audit, assurance and advice. He’s held senior finance roles locally and abroad, most notably with the Hollard Insurance Company where he was CFO of Hollard Business Partners and subsequently the Group Head of Capital. Joe is a proud pet parent to Coco, a Boston Terrier.

Melanie has over 25 years of leadership and Operations experience in the Canadian insurance industry. Melanie has proven strength in various functions including people leadership, defining and executing strategy to deliver customer service excellence, insurance underwriting, and implementing technology innovation to enhance business efficiency. Melanie is a huge animal lover and a proud pet parent to her Havanese, Oliver.

Tracy brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the Canadian insurance industry with a deep passion for customer service. Tracy thrives on strategizing day-to-day operations to deliver exceptional outcomes to customers, pets, and employees. Her commitment to operational excellence ensures that every interaction and process is optimized for success. Tracy is a dedicated pet parent to her beloved cats, Tommy, and Holly.
